I swear, last night had to be one of the best nights I've had in a VERY long time, seriously! I hit up Danyel Smith's (VIBE's EIC and wife to Elliot Wilson) birthday party last night, shheeeeesh it was a blast. Not to mention, it was open bar for about 3 hours straight (courtesy of YN, HA!) When you're greeting Kevin Liles and dapping up Just Blaze, that's when you know, officially, that Life As A Blogger TRULY sux'z! Not to mention my favorite finger food, Pigs In A Blanket, was being served a majority of the night (so mad I didn't bag the waitress serving them lol). That's alright, some top heavy honey dip named Bentley made up for it lol......KEEP IT LOCKED!
So I was rummaging around the internets earlier today and I spotted this lil blurb on ThisIs50.Com, scroll down to see what I FOUND!
NAS STYLIN ON 50? * PEEP THIS
Nas Stylin On 50?
By the looks of it Nasir executed one of the most indirect disses ever constructed by a hip hop artist. Seeing how this flew over EVERYONE's head, one of the media correspondents over at ThisIs50.Com spotted the slick 16. "Queens Get The Money", which is the lead off track to Nas's latest offering, Untitled is where this verse lives. I guess the piano melody distracted me somewhat, but I do remember hearing bits and pieces of it, but of course I thought nothing of it. Anyway, read the verse below and let me know your views. Is Nas gettin at 50??????
Ayo Queens get the money nigga still screamin "Paper Chasin'" [...] niggas is still hatin talkin that nas done fell off with rhyming he'd rather floss with diamonds they pray "please god let him spit that 'oozie in the army lining' that 'shorty doo-wop rolling oowops in the park reclining' " take twenty-seven mc's put em in a line and they out of alignment my assignment said she said retirement hiding behind 8 Mile and The Chronic get rich but dies rhyming this is high science now add 23 more from queens to b'more i'm over they heads like a bulimic on a seesaw now thats 50 porch monkeys ate up at the same time
SPEAK ON IT!!!

What??? Another 8 minutes...... NO WAY! That's right, Charles Hamilton has taken the liberty in ripping apart 8 minutes worth of instrumentals, AGAIN! I really think you guys are STILL underestimating this kids talent.....seriously! And since we're on new talent, I have a confession to make...I slept on Asher Roth. However, after seeing this remix video to his song "Roth Boys", I have to admit the lil homey has something going. I like his persona and he's pretty nice with the words lol. He sort of reminds me of the white boys I went to high school with, accept he's not on E pills and they couldn't rhyme two words to save their life's. Now, here's the question I pose to you all...Asher Roth or Charles Hamilton???? Let the discussion begin, NOW! Oh, check out some new tunage (Watch how many sites these 2 joints pop up on) below, THANKS BZ....NMC till I DIE! KEEP IT LOCKED!
Hmmmm, this is kind of a different vibe from the rest of the album, but nonetheless it's a pretty solid track....I think? I honestly didn't think he would have CB on this Lp, I was thinking more like Neyo or hell even Kellz. Anyway, KEEP IT LOCKED!
What??? I actually like a Ray-J song??? Yikes, what is the world coming too? Ha, that chorus is amusing and semi hot though...Here's a GIFT for you guys (I've heard I'm tooo mean to you guys lol). BZ, Good Looks sir!
Really.....did we NEED the Milli remix video with Neyo and Bangladesh??? I, however, don't mind that light skinned honey dip prancing around though lol....KEEP IT LOCKED!
Lol, man I could say so many things about this post, but I'm just going to let you scroll down and PEEP it out for yourself. WE'VE done plenty of shit talking.....but this nice lil blurb in the August issue of Vibe Magazine should REALLY make yall sick! So much for the "NEW NEW MUSIC CARTEL" HA! Keep It Locked!!
While I commend the BOTH of these men for initiating the return of NYC hip hop, I must say I'm getting tired of hearing DJ Kay Slay consistently point the finger at other parties. We ALLLL know this was the case several years back, so please stop kicking a dead horse and do something about it yourself sir. Look at Yayo actually trying to mend the forces of NYC into one big conglomerate! Lol@ DJ Coward....so rude lol! Keep It Locked!
When Funkmaster Flex speaks, you pricks better listen and that includes me as well! I been listening to dude ever since I dunno when, and though some of his commentary has been deemed imprudent, he does offer blurbs of wisdom at times. Anyway, in his newest blurb, in which I like to call "You Rapper", he sounds off on basically all of the rappers that have taken a bite out of the hands that provided for them. Not to single the new rappers out, he also addresses the bigger artists who happen to bring them along for the joy ride. Take a listen, it's HIGHLY entertaining and interesting! Courtesy of my man Cy Young! KEEP IT LOCKED!
So....Alphamega took it upon himself to stand up to Shawty Lo's questioning of where TI is really from. Like I said before, Alphamega aka "Grand Hustle Muscle", frightens me and since everyone he's interviewed so far is about 1/8th the size of him, I'm sure they share the same sentiment. I wonder what Carlos's next move is. Didn't Clifford say all this was over and done with????? Oh, and ya'll thought Young Buck crying on the phone was hilarious....Ooooo weeee, keep your eyes GLUED to the pages of UHTN! KEEP IT LOCKED!
The video popped up earlier courtesy of OS, and this popped up courtesy of the big homie. His verse is retarded, so it will live for an eternity in my mp3 player as well as my 6 cd changer. KEEP IT LOCKED!
Yea, I know I'm a tad bit late on the Kellz and Beyonce material, but that Kellz verse is pretty tough and for some reason I think he took a stab back at Neyo for his contributions over the Millie instrumental. I don't know, maybe I'm jumping the gun, but regardless that verse is still ill! KEEP IT LOCKED!
Honestly, Alphamega frightens me lol. However, I did take a liking to that track "4 or 5 Ways". I don't know if he's going to blow past Bankhead, but he sure is causing some noise down in the dirty. Oh, that "Louis Rag" joint is something disgusting.....CDQ on the way ladies and gent. KEEP IT LOCKED!
Jay-Z stopped by Friday Night with Jonathan Ross for a very entertaining but yet informative interview. The two talked about everything from Jay's so called "marriage" in which Hov didnt deny one bit. I swear, dude has to be one of the most sarcastic SOB's in the entertainment business. I particularly enjoyed the part when Jay blurted out an explicit just for the sake of it. "We kind of like that shit. I just wanted to get that shit off my chest" Keep It Locked!
